'Ted' Makes History, Tops 'Magic Mike' Video

It seemed like this weekend the roles were reversed as guys went to go see a movie about a stuffed animal, and girls went to go see a movie about strippers. Either way both movies did pretty good. Seth MacFarlane's Ted debuted to a massive 54.1 million at the box office, making history as the best showing ever for an original R rated comedy. Magic Mike grossed 39.2 million. Its the first time in history that two R rated movies opened north of 20 million on the same weekend.
