Megaupload Seized Before Trial
Yesterday we first reported to you that the FBI had seized the file sharing website, Megaupload, as well as arrested seven people connected to the site. The DOJ unsealed the federal indictment yesterday, charging those arrested with racketeering, money laundering and copyright infringement. All of this happening just one day after the biggest online protest in history, in opposition to SOPA and Protect IP. Cato's Julian Sanchez discusses.
