Katy Perry who has split from her husband Russell Brand has kept quiet about her breakup…until now.
Katy has Tweeted to her fans telling them not to listen to any of the gossip going around. She said: Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that no one speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, close sources or my family.
Russell filed for divorce on Dec 30 after spending the Christmas holiday separate. The two are reportedly still friends, but realized that they shouldn’t be married anymore. Katy reportedly wanted to go out a lot and Russell was more of a homebody. Guess the guy has been there done that.
Katy also Tweeted saying, I am so grateful for all the love and support ive had from people around the world you guys have made my heart happy again.
Katy and Russell got married back in 2010 in a lavish ceremony in India. Many thought they made an odd couple, but they were trying to prove the world otherwise. Clearly that didn’t happen.
