HOSTEL: PART II, STORY 1 or Leave it to CLEAVER Video

It was January 2005 when movie fans spent nearly 20 million dollars in the US to make Hostel the first number one film of the year. Now comes Hostel Part II. For whatever reason, fans didn't warm to the second installment in quite the same way. The sequel attracted less than half the business of the original as it earned under 9 million dollars and opened in sixth place at the box office. No matter. The movie will make its money back in short order. Roth, meanwhile has indicated he will not participate in a third outing, but that is up to the studio to decide, no doubt, whether to produce another episode in the series as a feature release or DVD down the road. Roth and his co-horts spent last October and part of November (2006) slaving away in an all-too-real looking dungeon in Prague before freezing their collective butts off in Iceland. Don't cry for him, though: The Blue Lagoon may smell like rotten eggs, but you can't beat the ambience -- or the thermal hot springs. Our story takes you behind the scenes during the making of H2.
