(PART 9) This is the very rare and hard to find 1964 comedy based on the play by George Axelrod. GOODBYE CHARLIE: Starring Debbie Reynolds, Tony Curtis, Pat Boone, and Walter Matthau. Charlie Sorrel is a notorious playboy who was murdered for his two-timing ways and is returned to earth as a beautiful woman as punishment for his treatment of women. Sound familiar? It should, as this theme has been used in several movies since, most notably, Blake Edwards' "Switch". This movie is extremely hard to find and this movie is essentially "out of print".
