If you're a Bears fan, this movie is for you, but you don't have to be a football fanatic get into this 1971 flick. "Brian's Song" is an Emmy-winning TV film that tells the real life story of two Chicago Bears teammates-- Running back Gale Sayers, played by Billy Dee Williams, and fullback Brian Piccolo, played by James Caan. The story unfolds as their Coach encourages Piccolo and Sayers to room together during the season, making it the first interracial pairing of its kind in professional sports. Things get even deeper when Piccolo develops cancer, but Sayers becomes more than just a roommate. He becomes a friend for life. "Brian's Song" is rated G. You'll probably need to pull out the box of tissues-- Yes, even you dad, but this movie is perfect for all ages. What better way to get yourselves prepped for the playoffs?
