On the store front and car door the text reads 'Driving Miss Daisy'. The White Rock Reporter is meeting with Miss Daisy herself and her co-partner Louise. A short but warm meeting ensued with Miss Daisy who has been serving as an entrepreneur and help for so many residents and visitors in White Rock, South Surrey, for over 37 years.. Now Daisy and Louise both are 'moving on' since the base of Daisy's operation is not to be any longer. The building on Victoria Ave. will be demolished and to leave space for an area making room for approximately 30 additional parking spaces of sorts...this until the development of the property will proceed Mr. Bob Yearsley, the owner, told the White Rock Reporter. I gathered the "Bob's Parking Services" will be a welcome add on for the merchants which today are restrained and limited for commerce due to lack of parking places in White Rock Seaside. [To stimulate commerce along the beach front and White Rock Seaside as a whole..'all one needs to do is to find 300.000 dollars and start looking at parkades seriously...and face the music. 'No parking, No business' for anyone. Valet parking? Parking is big business in White Rock! [No Parking revenues for the City and you would perhaps find a community in bankruptcy or negotiating with Surrey on an issue of White Rock to amalgamate?!.
