The joint was jumpin' at the Oak Room in the Algonquin Hotel when Daryl and Wycliffe went to town on the Harry Warren - Johnny Mercer classic JEEPERS CREEPERS. Wycliffe's equine noises late in his solo are a conscious tribute to the song's movie premiere in the movie GOING PLACES, where Louis Armstrong sang it to a horse, whose name happened to be "Jeepers Creepers."
