winds in the metro have been howling all day. our crews were all over the city getting a look at the damage and downright misery created by the windy weather. kayla anderson is live along the bosque-- where the winds are also raising the fire danger. i called around today and found several roofing companies, tree trimmers and construction projects calling off work today. and it's no wonder-- this weather is miserable for anyone outside-- and very dangerous also. winds sweep across unser on albuquerque's westside-- where nobody dares to head out on foot. these workers stick it out at a new housing development-- with dust and dirt blowing into their faces. and getting off a bus in downtown makes you want to climb back on. for people out on foot-- it's downright miserable to be outside.
