Film Synopsis: The Descents writer-director Neil Marshall employs his lean and muscular style of filmmaking to great effect in this hard-hitting, high-octane adventure starring Michael Fassbender as a never-say-die Roman solider caught behind enemy lines. The year is 117 AD, and the surviving members of a Roman battalion are fighting for their lives in northern England.
