"CAULDRON OF BLOOD" [10] - THE CORPSE COLLECTORS (1967/1971) - RARE KARLOFF Video

Never officially issued on dvd, Blind Man's Bluff (US title) is an overlooked loungy and convoluted eurothriller filmed in Spain as The Corpse Collectors, and features Boris Karloff in one of his last roles. Karloff is a famous blind sculptor who uses real bones as the framework for his creations. His wife, played by Viveca Lindfors, is the killer procuring the bones. French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont is a writer fooling around with a potential model/victim. Karloff passed away in 1969, and the producers seemed to have lost direction. The film features a variety of international participants, including a British-born American, a frenchman, spanish, and german actors as well. Initially produced in 1967, Blind Man's Bluff did not receive a US theatrical release until 1972.
