Sarah Jordan (Angelina Jolie) is married to a rich man and lives a wealthy life when she meets Nich Callahan (Clive Owen) who dedicated his life helping people in refugee camps all over the world. Touched by his speech, she decides to go to a camp herself in Ethiopia. Back in London she begins to work for the UNHCR and travels with supplies to Cambodia where she meets Nick again.
