Ahmadinejad Interviewed by Diane Sawyer of ABC News Video
In this interview by Diane Sawyer of ABC News, Iranian President Ahmadinejad touches upon one of the most fundamental elements of his nation's 8000-year-old civilization and culture: love and compassion for all mankind. His spoken words and thoughts are exactly the same words that were magnificently and permanently etched in the stones of an earlier capital city of Iran, Persepolis, by one of his predecessor administrations, Achaemenid government, around 3000 years ago. It has been based on these thoughts, spoken words, and the deeds emitting from those thoughts that spoken words, that Ahmadinejad's predecessor administrations like Achaemenid, Parthian, and Sassanid administrations united the Aryan tribes of the Iranian Plateau and other nations of the Central, West, and Southwest Asia in a democratic federation based on love, compassion, and equality for all mankind. Iran (Pronounced "Ea-run") which in Old Persian language means "Land of Aryans" is one of the few nations of our planet which today is still called with the same name that was called 4000 years ago. Its complex and intricate civilization and culture, as shown through its arts and crafts, dates back to 8000 years ago. A civilization and culture which has continued its existence and life, without interruption, despite being situated in one of the most strategic crossroads of history.
