George Carlin: Well, I think a lot, because I move about wherever I am with a great deal of comfort and assuredness, efficient, precision, movement, and accomplishment and task, whatever task at hand, and I credit the need for efficiency on the streets of New York with giving me that, or at least reinforcing whatever the traits were that I had that were like that. Umm, I know to ask for things and I know how to get what I need. Someone tries to get a little bit ahead of me on a line I say, I point this out like Are we going in order here? I always assert myself and this is what—and I count all that New York stuff as a training ground for that.
