Usopp (ウソップ, Usoppu) is a fictional character in the One Piece franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. He was the fourth member to join Luffy's crew and the third officially after the confrontation they had with Captain Kuro. It is the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates crew. His dream is to become a great pirate like his father Yasopp, member of the Red-Haired Pirates of "Red-Haired" Shanks. For most of history, Usopp is a tanned and thin young, with black curly hair and a long nose, making Pinocchio reference, a liar character like him. He usually wears a dark handkerchief yellow boxes, special shooter glasses, coveralls, brown with a white sash and no shirt underneath (despite wearing a dark green shirt in the Skypeia Saga). Usopp inherited his famous nose of his mother, while the rest of his face resembles that of his father. Oda asserted that Usopp is represented by the armadillo. During the separation of the Straw Hats, after landing in the Boin Archipelago, Usopp was very fat. Later, after the time-skip, Usopp regained his form thin but much more muscular, and has much longer hair.
