First up, a look at touchME, a collection that brings together stylists and brands to collaborate on clothes. This year's event for Spring/Summer 2012 was put together by one of Japan's top event producers--Yoshiko Wakatsuki. "The show has become a very thoughtful one, like a play," the Creative Director says, of the stories behind each designer's concept and collection. "It was something I wanted to express in the show." Shows that made an impression included dazzlin's Cotton Candy Fantasy, which was based on an idea of putting cotton candy on a model's head, Han Ahn Soon's Parisian woman traveling to Turkey, Ungrid's denim and vintage casual collection, Emoda's Mode Exotic line with mermaid silhouettes, Mercuryduo's natural luxury line with a feminine touch, jouetie's Bad Angel collection, and LagunaMoon's Arabic town with a touch of Egyptian style, Murua's flower girl. Next, Miss Universe Japan's Miyako Shiki shares ideas on beauty at Hollywood May's Garden Spa. Shiki is Japan's choice for the pageant in 2003. The Hollywood Beauty Salon is the first beauty salon established in Japan. This event was specially held for people who bought her book Miyako Style: Super Body Make. At the event, she focused on posture, walking, but also beauty on the inside.
