Plot: Popeye and the gang are at a county fair. Olive and Bluto have their horses entered in the "strong horse" contest, with Wimpy as judge. Swee'Pea wants to enter his horse, an old mare, also, but nobody takes him seriously. In order for the horses to win, the horse has to drag a sledge of rocks weighing 50,000 tons. The contest begins. Bluto's horse is disqualified. It's now Olive's turn, and Bluto gets jealous and plays a dirty trick on Olive, and her horse is disqualified. Olive, with nowhere to turn, tells Popeye to do something. Popeye decides to enter Swee'Pea horse. Bluto tries to sabotage the old mare, but Swee'Pea gives the old mare some spinach. Supercharged, she wins the "strong horse" contest and the accompanying Loving Cup- and several other contests that are going on at the same time. LESS
