Parisi tries to put a stop to the squabble by taking three help wanted ads from the newspaper and giving one to each of them, with the first to complete their individual task to be declared the best detective of the trio. Murray's case is to find a biker's estranged girlfriend; while Nick must find a short-tempered battleaxe's missing man; and a gifted young boy, unhappy at home, wants Cody to prove that he's adopted.
