They made apartment dwelling in Los Angeles sexy, dangerous, and oh-so attractive and now it seems Melrose Place will be filled with a whole new group of hot, young stars. I have to admitt that I wasn't all that jazzed about the upcoming remake, until I learned that noneother than Ashlee Simpson Wentz will be joining the cast. The new mom wanted a job that would allow her to be close to three month old son Bronx Mogli. The singer will join "Supernatural Star" Katie Cassidy and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" actor Michael Rudy when the show makes its big debut. About her move back to TV Ashely says that she's thrilled to be joining the cast of Melrose Place and becoming a part of its new generation of residents! Ashley will be playing Violet, a small town girl who moves to LA with a secret...the show hasn't even started shooting and fans are already hooked! And many of those fans have their fingers crossed that some of the orginal stars will reprise their roles on the show's reincarnation. SO, Will Marcia Cross ditch Wisteria Lane and head back to her old digs at Melrose place? Not too likely.
