A ruthless gang of Army deserters "executes" one of their own for informing of their plot to kidnap movie star Hank Fletcher, who is visiting the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival.

An amusement park owner gives Mike a picture of a man being fatally shot underneath a roller coaster, but the body is missing. With the assistance of the owner's daughter, Mike uncovers a dope ring operating within the park.

Mike goes undercover for the police to gather evidence against an arson ring by posing as an arsonist.

An accountant's widow hires Mike to gather the proof necessary to convict a shady nightclub owner of her husband's murder. After one witness meets with a deadly "accident", Mike uses his camera to try to get the only living witness to talk.
