Plot: Mama's refusing to cook dinner so the family has to go out to eat again, because she's hooked on the detective films that their running all week on the local channel. But her passion for the clasics soon leads to a caper all their own as Iola's mother disappears and the family and Iola go looking for her. While Mama stays at home to wait by the phone. There she falls asleep and dreams that she is herself a PI. In the dream Iola plays a client that needs to find her mother (Mama, Bubba, Vint and Naomi all play different roles), because her mother's recipes are worth millions. Thelma starts to investigate and soon comes to the conclusion that their is no Mother to be found. Iola then reveals that to be true and says she was the one behind all the recipes, and she wanted to be the one to get all the credit. So she made up the missing mother story.
