Toby and Kevin struggle to build a relationship while contending with the ordinary obstacles of jobs, troublesome exes, and well-built hookups, as well as the extraordinary obstacles from Ambrosius. Van, having found in Season One that she has Tresum power abilities, asks Grace to become her teacher. Meanwhile, her girlfriend, Michelle, is frightened of Van's magical/dark side, and Van will wind up paying a high personal price for choosing to continue her Tresum studies. Grace Neville returns to torment Ambrosius.
