Set several years into the future, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX revolves around a boy, Juudai Yuuki as he begins his life at the new Duelist Academy, owned by Kaiba Corp. While running to the entrance exams [late], Juudai bumps into Yuugi Mutou, the King of Games! Seeing a Duel Disk and deck, Yuugi thinks he must be a duelist, Juudai confirms this as he says he's on his way to the entrance exams for the Duelist Academy. Yuugi decides to give him a Hane [or Winged] Kuribo card, saying it is a lucky card, and he wishes Juudair luck on his exams as he runs off. Although late to the exams Juudai is able to join in, if he wants to get accepted though, he'll have to duel Professor Chronos De Mediz head of the Obelisk Blue Dorm. Chronos believes this boy to be a "drop-out boy" because of his low level number, and after giving up the fight against the committee he agrees to duel him, if he wins he's in. Winning LESS
