Tuesdays with Morrie is a 1999 television film adaptation of the Mitch Albom's book of the same title. It features Jack Lemmon in a role for which he won an Emmy award. The book describes a writers strike occurring, allowing Mitch to visit Morrie whereas in the film Mitch is shown to continue working and no writers strike is mentioned.
