He is founder of the ground breaking Drift Alliance team, and a revered driver in the American series. Tony Angelo has starred in several Drifting films including Bad as Hell, Slide America, and Stay Hungry. Tony Angelo has built and driven a series of powerful rotary powered Mazdas during his professional career. He most recently campaigned a Mazda RX-8 in Formula Drift with partners Mazda, Maxxis Tires,Exedy Racing Clutches, and Disc Brakes Australia. After the 2008 Formula Drift season Tony moved from the drivers seat to the judges chair for 2009, a position that he still maintains. In 2010 he was also elected Formula drift Technical Manager.
