Tim Plester (born 10 September 1970) is a British playwright and actor who lives and works in London. Plester graduated in 1994 with a BA (Hons) in theatre at Dartington College of Arts in Devon, and went on to obtain an MA (Hons) in playwriting studies from Birmingham University in 1997. He also wrote Blake's Junction 7 (2004), a short comedy sci-fi film, again directed by Ben Gregor and starring Johnny Vegas, Mackenzie Crook, Mark Heap, Raquel Cassidy, and Martin Freeman. The film premiered at the 2004 Edinburgh Film Festival and was screened at a number of prestigious film festivals worldwide.
