The Hypnotic Eye (1960) is a horror film, released by Allied Artists on February 27, 1960, starring Jacques Bergerac, Allison Hayes, Merry Anders, Eric "Big Daddy" Nord, and Ferdinand Demara, billed as "Fred Demara". Mysterious hypnotist Desmond (Bergerac) comes to town to present his act, just as a series of women gruesomely disfigure themselves, apparently while in a trance. A local doctor and a detective try to find the reason. "The Hypnotic Eye"

Here's a clip from "Hypnotic Eye," a local Dallas cable access show that ran in the late 90's.. the format was bizarre. An eyeball puppet would hosted a barrage of clips, bizarre trailers, and other magical bits of fun, along with various sidekicks (usually a Donny Osmond doll).. It aired late at night on Dallas public access, and touched the lives of MANY in the area (including myself & our gang of misfits) and became one of the most unforgettable cable access shows in the area (it won the "Best Cable Access Show" award in the Observer in 97) and is to this day, distributed, and traded on vhs & dvd. It was created by created by Joe Riley (who created & worked the Eye puppet) and Kenneth Weinert. Sadly, Joe passed away a few years ago, but his memory lives on.
