This is the 2002 BBC production of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Hound of the Basekrvilles," starring Richard Roxburgh as 'Sherlock Holmes,' Ian Hart as 'Dr. Watson,' and Richard E. Grant as 'Jack Stapleton.' Other interesting screen credits of these excellent actors: Richard Roxburgh also played 'The Duke' in "Moulin Rouge!" (2001); 'Count Vladislaus Dracula' in "Van Helsing" (2004); 'Hugh Stamp' in "Mission: Impossible II" (2000); 'M' and 'The Fantom' and 'Professor James Moriarty' in "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (2003); and 'Percy Grainger' in "Passion" (1999). Ian Hart also played 'Dr. Watson' in "The Case of the Silk Stocking" (2004); 'Sir Arthur Conan Doyle' in "Finding Neverland" (2004); and 'Professor Quirinus Quirrell' and 'Voldemort' in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
