Teri McMinn (born August 18, 1951) is an American actress, known for her role as Pam in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). McMinn was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and grew up with an interest in the arts. After graduating high school Teri was on scholarship with The Dallas Theatre Center, in Dallas, Texas. McMinn was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and grew up with an interest in the arts. After graduating high school Teri was on scholarship with The Dallas Theatre Center, in Dallas, Texas. Moving to Austin, Texas for further study, the actress attended the University of Texas and St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She was discovered by Tobe Hooper and Kim Henkel, director and producer (respectively) of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, after seeing an article about her in the local newspaper. After auditioning, Teri was offered the role of "Pam" in their film project. Following the arduous film shoot, Teri continued acting in Regional Theater in Texas, and the Midwest. In The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (directed by Tobe Hooper), McMinn stars as Pam, a teenager who travels (along with her boyfriend and some friends) to the cemetery where Sally Hardesty and her brother Franklin's grandfather is buried to investigate reports of recent grave vandalism.
