Irving "Sully" Boyar (December 14, 1924 – March 23, 2001) was an American actor of Russian descent. Boyar was one of seven children, some of whom grew up to become lawyers and businessmen. He also worked as a lawyer before turning to acting. He had a twin brother named Samuel. Boyar was in many films including Fort Apache, The Bronx, In the Soup, The Jazz Singer and Car Wash. He worked with Al Pacino in Dog Day Afternoon (1975), as the bank manager Mulvaney. Sully can be seen in many other movie and television projects. He was also a theater actor.
