Sonia Noemi, "Sonia Noemí González" July 14, 1941, born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is an actress and singer, who is one of the pioneers of Puerto Rican television.
Sonia was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico's second most populous city, which is also known as "El Pueblo del Chicharrón" (Fried Pig Skin City), located on the northern coastal valley of the island. In 1958, at the early age of 17, she was already one the stars of the musical television show broadcast by Telemundo: "El Show Ford", with:Tito Lara & the Puerto Rican vocal quartet, "Los Hispanos".

On September 3, 1965, Sonia Noemí, married a Venezuelan singer Hector Cabrera, and moved to Venezuela. Years later, Sonia divorced Cabrera, and in the early 1970s, she married again, this time to the Cuban actor and producer Guillermo De Cun. In the early 1980s, Sonia divorced de Cun.
Alfred D. Herger, was the producer of her first album: "Si Yo Fuera una Reina", (If I were a Queen), *Sona-Rico, SR-1*. Sonia's hit single was: "El rebelde", a Spanish version of the hit song: "He's a Rebel", from The Crystals.
In 1965, Noemí, recorded her second album with RCA-Victor record label, in Mexico: "Baladas y boleros", (Ballads & Boleros), *MKL LESS
