Shefali Chowdhury (born 20 June 1988) is a British actress best known for playing the role of Parvati Patil in the Harry Potter film series. Chowdhury was born in Denbigh, Wales and moved to Birmingham when she was six. She is of Bangladeshi origin; her parents immigrated to Great Britain from Bangladesh in the 1980s.
