Sean Kanan (born November 2, 1966) is an American actor.
He was born Sean Perelman in Cleveland, Ohio and was raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He attended Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania, Boston University and UCLA where he earned a degree in political science.
His family owns and operates Kings Jewelry.

Later he joined the cast of the ABC soap opera General Hospital playing A.J. Quartermaine from 1993–1997 and was nominated for outstanding newcomer by the Soap Opera Digest awards. In 1999, he joined the cast of NBC's soap opera Sunset Beach as Jude Cavanaugh and stayed until the end of the year, when the show left the air. Kanan wrote and executive produced Chasing Holden which starred DJ Qualls and distributed by Lionsgate. He later joined the cast of the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful portraying Deacon Sharpe, appearing from November 2000 until February 2005.
