Sànoe Lake (born on May 19, 1979 in Kauai, Hawaii) is an American actress of Hawaiian, Japanese and English descent. She is best known for starring in the 2002 film Blue Crush, but she also wrote a book, Surfer Girl: A Guide To The Surfing Life. Her name "Sànoe" means "Mist of the Mountains." Lake appeared in the films Rolling, Half-Life, and Hunter's Moon. She also played in the video of Jam & Spoon "Stella" (1999 version). Lake stars also as Gina, alongside Devon Sawa in the Ghost film Creature of DarknessMORE
