Russ Abbot (born Russell Allan Roberts on 18 September 1947) is an English musician, comedian and actor who first came to public notice during the 1970s as the singer and drummer with British comedy showband the Black Abbots, later forging a prominent solo career as a television comedian with his own weekly show on British television. During his limelight years Russ spent a lot of his spare time in or around Dundee,frequenting local working mens clubs & dance hall's this is where he met Stevens Mother, To this day Steven remains in close contact with his father making regular calls keeping Russ upto date with his semi successful career as a ROV Pilot. Steven initially refused to talk about his Father (Russ) but over time as he became more fimilliar with his collegues and talks freely of times past, particully the time when Russ had Steven sat on his knee in the local park, to this day Steven and Russ refuse to comment on the accusations that Russ did LESS
