Rodd Christensen is an American actor best known for his performance on the BBC children's television programme Balamory.
Christensen was born born in Las Vegas, Nevada and trained as an actor. A devout Christian, in 1992 he moved to Scotland and spent eleven years doing youth work for with charity Scripture Union in Fife. Between 2002 and 2005 he appeared in Balamory in the role of Spencer, a painter and musician. The programme appeared on BBC One, Two and CBeebies.

The show is a learning show for kids in which Christensen interacts with them. Christensen will be starring in Pallywags as it tours Scotland from March to May, alongside Lauren Hair from the Sky 1 TV programme Got To Dance.
Christensen is married with two daughters; he lives in Fife. He is a keen photographer. In addition to acting, he is employed as a bus driver for Stagecoach Group. LESS
