Director Robert Rodriguez continues to grow his media empire and has teamed up with Spanish-language Univision Networks to launch the English speaking El Rey Network. In a press release, Rodriguez said he's thrilled to be partnering with Univision on this groundbreaking initiative to deliver high-quality original programming to the community and to wider, mainstream audiences. The channel is aimed at a young adult audience and will have a mix of reality, scripted and animated shows in addition to film, music and sports programming. Already slated for production is a Latino James Bond series.
