Paule Baillargeon (born July 19, 1945 in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) is a Quebec actress and film director. She won the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film I've Heard the Mermaids Singing, and was a nominee for Best Director for Le Sexe des étoiles.
Her other film roles have included Un 32 août sur terre, Jésus de Montréal, Réjeanne Padovani and L'Âge des Ténèbres.
In 2002, she directed an NFB documentary about her friend, Claude Jutra. In 2009, Baillargeon was appointed as a filmmaker in residence by the National Film Board of Canada. MORE
