Paul Higgins (born in Lanarkshire, 1964) is a Scottish actor. He has appeared onstage in Paul, Black Watch and in the film Complicity. In 2009 he appeared playing Gil Cameron on the BBC One TV Drama Hope Springs. He was brought up as a Roman Catholic, but now he considers himself a lapsed Catholic. As a teenager he trained to be a priest but gave his training up aged 17 when he began dating. He is married to English actress Amelia Bullmore, whom he met in 1992 while co-starring in A View from the Bridge in Manchester. The couple have two daughters. LESS
