Paul Angelis (born 18 January 1943, Liverpool, Lancashire) is an English actor and writer best known for his role as PC Bannerman in the British television series Z-Cars.
He provided the voice of Ringo Starr and the Chief Blue Meanie in the film Yellow Submarine.
He has appeared in many British television programmes such as George and Mildred, Porridge, Callan, The Liver Birds, The Onedin Line, Man About The House, Quiller, The Sweeney, The Gentle Touch, Bergerac, Armchair Theatre, Z-Cars, Softly, Softly, Robin's Nest, Juliet Bravo, Casualty and The Grimleys.
