For four seasons, Pat Crawford Brown played the role of Ida Greenberg on Desperate Housewives. Ida Greenberg first appeared in the episode "Come In, Stranger", as a neighbor at the watch-meeting complaining that somebody was watching her whenever she took a shower. In season two, we discover that Ida has a drinking problem. But that ends because, when she asks for God to end her alcoholism, her bottle is shot due to an event taking place at Mike's house, and she quits.
