Patrick George "Paddy" Considine (born 5 September 1973) is an English actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, musician and frequent collaborator with Shane Meadows. Best known to audiences for his portrayals of dark, troubled, morally or mentally ambiguous characters. This film is a cinematic work of historical fiction, taking as its premise the idea that Jones was murdered by Frank Thorogood, a builder whom had been hired to renovate and improve Jones's house Cotchford Farm in East Sussex.
