After attending the American School of Tangier, he moved to London and graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 2003. He has starred in a number of feature films including The Hamburg Cell, United 93, "The Situation", The Kingdom and the forthcoming Extraordinary Rendition. His newest film, Body of Lies, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was released 10 October 2008. On 18 June 2009, he played Ahmed in the BBC show Occupation, (Season 1, Episode 3).
