Olga Merediz (born February 15, 1956) is an American Broadway, TV, and film actress. Merediz is probably best known for originating the role of Abuela Claudia in the Broadway musical In the Heights. She played the role for the show's entire Broadway run. Merediz was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but raised in Puerto Rico; her parents were Cuban refugees.
