He has appeared in Brick, Adam & Steve, What We Do Is Secret (as real-life Germs' drummer Don Bolles), The Picture of Dorian Gray, Cabin Fever 2, All About Evil, an award-winning performance in Deadgirl, Chain Letter and others. Other television appearances include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and House, and provided the voice of Henry on the Nickelodeon cartoon show KaBlam!. Brick director Rian Johnson invited Segan to play a small role in his second film, The Brothers Bloom, in 2008, and in January 2010, it was announced that he would be joining the cast of Johnson's third film, Looper as a supporting lead. He has produced and starred in the independent feature films Quit and Someone's Knocking at the Door and directed numerous music videos. Segan currently lives in Los Angeles.
