Two distinct generations of the 240SX, the S13 and the S14 were produced based on the Nissan S platform. The SR20DET was never legalized or introduced into the North American market in a 240SX, though some like to import them. The 240SX is closely related to other S platform based vehicles, such as the Japanese-market Silvia and 180SX, and the European-market 200SX. Although their names are similar, the 240SX is unrelated to the 240Z or the 280ZX. LESS |
Nissan 240sx RHD conversion / sr20det drift car |
See All |
This car was converted by me at my shop, Vision Speed Factory, to a RHD Sil80. The car started off as a 1989 Nissan 240sx. I used a front clip from a type-x 180sx to get the blacktop sr20det, the interior, the firewall, and all the other rhd parts. I cut the firewall out of both and welded the RHD one into the 240sx, then swapped over all the parts. The car is gutted out, because it's main purpose is a drift car.
