It is about a free-spirited 16-year-old daughter of the American president who makes a date with a high school teenager named Duncan, then sneaks away from her Secret Service and has a wild night on the town. Duncan Fletcher is an average teenager in search of a date to his school's spring dance. Duncan, not realizing this, asks her to his school's dance. She accepts and gives him her address (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue) and he replies by telling her he will pick her up at 7:00.
