Murray Alper (January 11, 1904 – November 16, 1984) was an American actor. Alper's earliest screen credit was 1930's The Royal Family of Broadway, and for the following thirty-five years, he appeared in a number of films, usually playing cab drivers, bookies, cops and GIs. Frequently seen in comedies, Alper was featured in the Three Stooges' Tricky Dicks and The Outlaws Is Coming, and also in several films of legendary director Alfred Hitchcock.
