Early silent screen leading man Roy Stewart played a dual-role in this independently produced "Northwestern" about identical twins, separated at birth, who grow up on opposite sides of the law. The good Stewart becomes a Royal Mounted Police officer while the bad twin inherits an outlaw gang "founded" by his foster-father (William Lyon West). Soon one brother is chasing the other, with the expected misunderstandings cropping up along the way. This low-budget feature was produced by the San Francisco-based Quality Pictures Corp. and released by C.B.C Film Sales. The latter company, which changed is name to Columbia in 1924, was operated by the Cohn brothers and Joe Brandt.
