Actress Leah Baird produced this domestic drama, wrote both the story and scenario, and starred in it. When Rose Manning (Baird) comes home in the middle of the night wearing only half her clothes and covering herself with a coat belonging to her old suitor, Herbert Olden (Emory Johnson), her husband John (Edward Peil) assumes the worst. The truth is that Rose was caught in a storm and when she tried to dry off at a roadhouse, she had to dash off when the place was suddenly raided. Manning, of course, doesn't believe a word of it, so he throws Rose out of the house and prepares to divorce her. Rose's efforts to reconcile with him prove fruitless so she reluctantly decides to wed Olden, who has proposed. But on the day of the wedding she finds out that she is carrying Manning's child. Manning, meanwhile, has decided that his decision to divorce Rose was hasty.
